This coffee is grown at an elevation of 1500 – 1800 meters above sea level. It is harvested from October through July.
The coffee comes from small family-owned farms in Colombia’s coffee triangle. The main harvest is from October to January and the “mitaca” harvest is from April to June. The small coffee producers pick and process their coffee at their own micro-wet mills. Afterwards, they dry their coffee on elevated tables inside solar dryers that protect the coffee from rain.
