Rhubarb and plum notes. Tart acidity with a black tea finish.
Grown in Ntamba Bubanza which is near the Rwanda border at an altitude of 1,700 meters. The beans undergo a wash process and are dried on patios or by a solar dried machine. Harvest time is from April – June.
The Kanovera Coop produces 960 bags of green coffee a year. It is one of 11 sub-coops of COCOCA which was created in 2009. As of 2015, there were 160 Coop members. This is the first time coffee from this lot has been certified Fair Trade.
